#10 Pulling into the drive at 4224 N. Lincoln Blvd. puts a smile on my face. Last Friday I was greeted by blooming red bud trees standing alongside the playful sculptures!
#9 Keying in my code at the volunteer check-in reminds me of how important my help is to Infant Crisis Services and motivates me to be my best!
#8 Walking through the building is soothing and invigorating at the same time. So much thought and love went into its design and you can feel that!
#7 Checking out the table in the volunteer lunchroom often offers a sweet treat and there is always a fresh pot of coffee!
#6 Looking about the warehouse is awesome and gratifying. The shelves are stocked and the clothes all hung up waiting for our needy clients!
#5 Filling up the baskets in the playroom with plastic bags from home is an important part of recycling!
#4 Greeting my fellow volunteers and the amazing staff--all of whom I consider my friends--never disappoints. They are all so wonderful!
#3 Cooing babies or tottering toddlers or wise older brothers and sisters, they all bring smiles to our faces and enliven the playroom!
#2 Feeling like I've made a small difference, brightened up someone's day maybe a little, and helped feed a baby feeds my soul!
AND THE #1 REASON I LOVE Infant Crisis Services it is the gift that keeps giving back!
