It's that time of year again when you can't seem to put on enough layers. Forgive me for my cheesy pun, but baby, it's cold outside! When the weather gets colder, we want to make sure the babies we serve do not. That's why we not only give out warm coats during the winter season, but hats and mittens, too. In fact, in our lobby we have what we call "the tree of warmth". Some very talented donors have knitted or crocheted tons of adorable little hats that we hang on the tree. Each family can pick a hat off of the tree for each of their children.
We love seeing all of the little ones bundled up and wearing a warm hat. It's also extremely special knowing that each of these hats was made with so much love. Thanks to all of the great people who donate coats, hats, mittens, shoes and clothing to help keep babies and toddlers warm! We hope you have a happy holiday season and a merry Christmas!
