It's been a rough week at Infant Crisis Services. A water pipe burst in our building Monday afternoon due to the extremely cold temperatures. Our waiting room, check out area and part of the playroom were flooded. Crews are working very quickly to clean it up, dry it out and repair the damage. But we know the need doesn't stop, so neither do we.
Because our client services area is out of commission right now, we are having to improvise. Our wonderful staff of client services coordinators and our family services coordinator have been working out of the BabyMobile today. They are literally serving babies in our parking lot! It hasn't been ideal, but we know that there are babies who need us. We know that a baby without a warm bottle or a clean diaper can't wait for a burst pipe to be repaired.
We'd like to thank everyone for bearing with us during this temporary process. Hopefully things will be back to business as usual very soon.
