Young Professionals Board
The Young Professionals Board of Infant Crisis Services is comprised of 30 hardworking young adults, ages 25-40, each with specific talents and expertise in areas that help to grow and expand the organization and its mission.
Applications for the Young Professionals Board are accepted year-round and reviewed annually in October for membership the following year.

Miki Farris
Executive Director
Miki Farris is a founder and currently serves as the executive director of Infant Crisis Services. Prior to this, she was the office manager for Melissa Clements, M.D., a career counselor with Career Management Services and a personnel officer at First National Bank of OKC.
Miki founded Infant Crisis Services in 1984 as a part of a Sunday School project at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Miki is an Oklahoma State University graduate, sustainer in the Junior League of Oklahoma City, board member and past president of the Alumni Board of Leadership OKC, member of the Kiwanis Club of OKC, member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumni and an active member of the United Methodist Church of the Servant. She is married to Jim Farris and has three daughters and one son: Jacquelyn, Abbey, Ally, and Josh.
Jennifer Boren
Director of Operations and Finance
Jennifer Boren has worked at Infant Crisis Services since 1997. She is responsible for all operational aspects of the organization. She monitors and manages financial issues; coordinates business affairs between operations and functional departments; manages budgeting, financial accounting, human resources and payroll functions; and supervises client services, warehouse and facilities management staff.
Jennifer obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from the University of Iowa and Master’s of Education from University of Central Oklahoma. She is married to Paul Boren and they have two sons.
Beth Lykins
Director of Volunteer Programs
Beth Lykins has worked at Infant Crisis Services since 2005. She is responsible for all aspects of the volunteer programs including individual volunteering, group volunteering, off-site opportunities, virtual opportunities, and the Summer Teen Program. She is also the Director Liaison for the Independent Fundraising Committee. Beth obtained her bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Life Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is a former president of COVA, Central Oklahoma Volunteer Administrators, Former Vice President of her local 522 Ambulance Board, and currently volunteers her spare time at her church. Beth is a member of New Song Church and has been married to Kelly Lykins and they have two sons.
Allison Parker
Director of Development and Communications
Allison Parker has worked at Infant Crisis Services since 2017. She is responsible for all things fundraising – special events, planned giving, in-kind drives, and donor relationships. She also oversees external communications and outreach. Allison was born and raised in Norman, OK, and obtained a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Kansas. She previously worked in development at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and is the past president of AFP Oklahoma (Association of Fundraising Professionals). She is also an active member of Junior League of Oklahoma City. Allison and her husband, Spencer, live in central Oklahoma City with their daughters, Rowan and Mary.
