BORN FROM COMPASSION. BUILT BY COMMUNITY.
In 1984, Miki Farris sat in a Sunday school class at Westminster Presbyterian Church. She had no idea that class would change the course of her life—and the lives of countless babies across Oklahoma. In a room filled with new parents, a conversation sparked a mission: to help families who couldn’t afford basic necessities for their babies. As a new mother, Miki knew the comfort of being able to provide—and the pain others must feel when they couldn’t. That deep sense of love and empathy gave rise to Infant Crisis Services.
Like the children it serves, the organization has grown over the years—moving from space to space before finding its forever home at 4224 North Lincoln Boulevard. Today, thanks to community support, thousands of babies and toddlers go to sleep with full bellies, dry diapers, and a renewed chance at a healthy start. None of it would be possible without the selfless generosity of supporters like you.

TOGETHER, WE CAN GIVE EVERY BABY A STRONG START.
When you support Infant Crisis Services—through time, talent, or donations—you’re doing more than meeting a child’s immediate needs. You’re helping lay the foundation for a healthier, more hopeful future. Babies and toddlers who lack access to diapers, formula, and nutritious food face lasting consequences: poor health, delayed development, and limited access to childcare. With 85% of brain development occurring in the first three years, early intervention is essential.
Infant Crisis Services addresses these challenges through our core values of compassion, kindness, respect, and love. Every client receives a week’s worth of diapers, formula, and food, along with clothing, wipes, bottles, and other essentials. Families also receive guidance from a Client Services Manager who connects them with additional resources. It’s care that goes beyond crisis, and it pays off. For every dollar invested in a child’s early years, the return is estimated at $7 to $17. The impact of your support is immediate, measurable, and life-changing.
