How to Volunteer With Your Group

1. Get Your Group Together

We love to partner with businesses, corporations, churches, schools, civic groups, friends or families with children 10 years and older! All kinds of groups are welcome. Due to our new safety practices, we accept groups of up to 20 individuals per shift.

2. Check Your Schedule

We book groups based on our availability, Monday through Thursday. Groups can choose the morning (10 am-12 pm) or afternoon shift (2 pm-4 pm) from available slots.

We are now booking for February through April. If you are interested in group volunteering, please schedule a couple of months in advance. We appreciate your support for the babies and toddlers we serve!

4. Double Your Impact!

We invite you to double your impact by donating much-needed supplies during your volunteer session. These donations are an incredible help to the babies and toddlers we serve. 

  • Diapers: Sizes 3, 4, 5, 6 are the most needed: any brand. 
    • Opened diaper packs are accepted!
  • Baby Wipes: any brand 
  • New Sippy Cups: any brand 
  • New Baby Bottles: any brand 

Volunteers can also donate cash to the Diaper Fund when they arrive.

Individuals

Thank you for your interest in donating your time. Individual and student roles support client services, the boutique, and warehouse preparation.

How to get started:

  1. Find your best fit: Review the roles below.
  2. Apply: Complete the volunteer application.
  3. Interview & tour: We will call to schedule a phone interview and tour if your application is approved.
  4. Background check: If approved, we will run a background check. A clear background check is required. Court-ordered community service is not accepted.
  5. Orientation & training: We will schedule your first day after you complete the steps above.

Roles:

Client Intake Volunteer
Serve directly with families to ensure their babies and toddlers receive needed items.

  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience with children under age 4 is helpful.
  • Active role with continuous standing and movement.
  • Repetitive lifting of grocery bags up to 5 pounds.
  • One shift per week, minimum three-month commitment.
  • Shifts: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. or 1:00–4:00 p.m.

Boutique/Hub Volunteer
Keep our boutique organized and stocked so caregivers can shop with dignity.

  • Maintain a clean, orderly storefront.
  • Restock clothing and basket items.
  • Check in and process donations.
  • Support monthly and annual inventory.

For minors: Parental consent is required. Please bring completed Parental Consent Forms on your first day.

College Students

 If you’re a college student needing hours for field studies, capstones, or practicums, we encourage you to apply!

How to get started:

  1. Find your best fit: Review the roles below.
  2. Apply: Complete the volunteer application.
  3. Interview & tour: We will call to schedule a phone interview and tour if your application is approved.
  4. Background check: If approved, we will run a background check. A clear background check is required. Court-ordered community service is not accepted.
  5. Orientation & training: We will schedule your first day after you complete the steps above.
