Infant Crisis Services Young Professionals Board is comprised of 21 hard working young adults, each with specific talents and expertise in areas that help to grow and expand the organization and its mission.

Dr. Scott Melson
Miki Farris is a founder and currently serves as the executive director of Infant Crisis Services, Inc. Prior to this, she was the office manager for Melissa Clements, M.D., a career counselor with Career Management Services and a personnel officer at First National Bank of OKC.
Farris founded Infant Crisis Services in 1984 as a part of a Sunday School project at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Farris is an Oklahoma State University graduate, sustainer in the Junior League of Oklahoma City, board member and past president of the Alumni Board of Leadership OKC, member of the Kiwanis Club of OKC, member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumni and an active member of the United Methodist Church of the Servant. She is married to Jim Farris and has three daughters and one son: Jacquelyn age 30, Abbey age 29, Ally age 28 and Josh age 26.
Jo Lynne Jones
Director of Development and Communications
Jo Lynne Jones is in her fifteenth year at Infant Crisis Services. She is responsible for the financial development of the agency as well as all internal and external communications. She designs and implements organization-wide fundraising activities and events working closely with the Resource Development Committee of the board. She also oversees all communications and public relations efforts. Jones actively participates as a member of the management team and serves as immediate back-up to the executive director in the director’s absence.
Jones worked in the broadcast industry for 22 years. She is a member of Leadership Oklahoma City Alumni Association, past president of the Oklahoma County Bar Auxiliary and president elect of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, the Association for Women in Communications and Westminster Presbyterian Church where she serves on the Missions Team. Jones attended Oklahoma State University and received her bachelor’s degree in communications. She is married with two children, Jonathan age 28 and Jason age 16.
Director of Operations and Finance
Jennifer Boren has worked at Infant Crisis Services since 1997. She is responsible for all operational aspects of the organization. She monitors and manages financial issues; coordinates business affairs between operations and functional departments; manages budgeting, financial accounting, human resources and payroll functions; and supervises client services, warehouse and facilities management staff.
Boren obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from the University of Iowa and Master’s of Education from University of Central Oklahoma. She is married to Paul Boren and they have two sons.
Director of Volunteer Programs
Beth Lykins has worked at Infant Crisis Services since 2005. She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the volunteer programs including the Summer Teen Program and Teen Associate Board Program. Lykins is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelors degree in Child Development. Lykins is a former president of COVA, Central Oklahoma Volunteer Administrators.
Lykins is a member of LifeChurch and is married to Kelly Lykins. They have two children, Ryan and Ryder.
